About Monthly Meetings
SVCUG Monthly Meetings are primarily Cisco technical presentations delivered by subject matter professionals. On occasion, we allow third parties with Cisco or network related products or services deliver the presentation for our Monthly Meetings.
The January Monthly Meeting is reserved for the SVCUG Staff. We use the first Monthly Meeting of every year to receive feedback from our members. This time is used to re-cap the previous year, find out what members are interested in hearing about in the coming meetings, and engage in networking technology discussions.

Looking to be a presenter?
For SVCUG Members
If you are interested in delivering a technical presentation to the SVCUG – Just let me know!
In an effort to help SVCUG members grow in their networking knowledge or to help them better understand networking concepts they are struggling with, I am encouraging them to deliver a technical presentation about the technology or concept they with to learn or understand better.
The research, preparation, and (yes) the pressure of having to deliver a presentation to a group can work wonders in terms of helping you learn – but the knowledge and experience gained is yours to keep.
For Everyone Else
If you are interested in delivering a technical presentation to the SVCUG – we have conditions.
- The presentation must be networking related (and relevant to a Cisco User Group)
- Your presentation must be submitted for pre-approval before any date is committed
- SVCUG members will not be asked to participate in any activity that requires them to have to submit any of their personal information
- Technical presentations are preferred but marketing presentations of technical caliber will be considered.
- Send your requests to (Dan) and prepend your Subject text with: SVCUG Presentation Request:
